Is clamd actually running? The syntax of boolean config values in the
clamd.conf file has changed between 0.88.5 and 0.90RC1.1, so maybe it is
falling over when it fails to parse the config file. Another likely
possibility is that the old libclamav library files from 0.88.5 are
still installed. These need to be removed.
