I know I'm top posting, but there is a reason...
My humble apologies for time wasted reading my post, the problem was as
follows:
The tar's file was in the following path:
/home/grant/Av, and spam/Clamav/clamav-0.87.1.tar
Configure didn't like the comma, renamed the directory and it worke
