I had the same issue and resolved it by moving the clamav user's home
directory back to /tmp

My hunch is that it is an RFC2231 parsing problem, quite possibly because of
emails
that aren't fully RFC2231 compliant, though it could of course just be a bug in
clamAV, any samples
of emails with RFC2231 headers would be grateful, especially any that reproduce
the problem.
