It is not related with clamav but you can use ( I think your are using qmail
and qscanq ..) Zabit "Content And Attachment Filter For qmail" that blocks
email that has certain attachment and content. It does those things before
mail gets scanned thus allowing a performance gain. By the way it is

testing, we were able to determine this was because the attachment was binhex

For the last few days I have been getting a freshclam error when trying
to update. I downloaded the newest version, compiled, and installed but
am still having the same problems. The error I am getting is as

versions since devel-20040622 contain a bug regarding handling of stream
scanning in TCP mode. The bug results in clamdscan hanging when scanning
data on stdin ("clamdscan -"). The bug does _not_ affect scanning files
given to clamds

Hi everyone,
I've just installed clamav on an old Slack7 system. It seems to work
fine but freshclam refuses to update the Viruses DB.
I get this error:
ERROR: The checksum of downloaded database isn't ok. Please check it
yourself or try again.
Any hint
