I'm trying to install clamav 0.72 on MacOSX Server (v 10.3.4) and make keeps
failing with this error:
libtool: link: cannot find the library `'
make[2]: *** [clamscan] Error 1
I've installed zlib per the instructions, and GNU MP 3.
All advice appreciated. Thanks.

That did it! Am I embarrassed?; if only I had listened to your advice

Clamd tends to eat up all the remaining memory on our mail server (we're
getting dictionary spammed like mad lately). I'd like to keep it using
less than 100M, it pushes 150-200 when it hits nested mime.
Is there an clamd option, or are people using ulimit for this? Does

Any plan to add the functionality which force clamav-milter
only adds X-headers and send notification to postmaster, but
doesn't bounce, discard, reject etc. furthermore it can
configure inbound or outbound respectively?

No one responded to my previous post (probably lost under the original

Running freshclam from clamav-0.72 through an authenticated firewall no
longer works (worked fine in 0.71). I can't see anything in the
freshclam source that could have caused this,
