Just got around to testing. Seems to work fine here with both plugins.
It appears to be using Flash 9 on mine, and the plugin seems to be
crashing a lot. Could you try going to YouTube again and open Chromium's
Task Manager (Shift+Esc) and see if maybe the plugin that was supposed
to play the vide

Same here Brad..I think Chromium devs diceded to not allow plugins by
default because it wasn't working 100%.

Submitted 16919. The flash based npr.org media player only does audio
and does not display its gui.

Updated today (3.0.195.0 (20767)) and flash is still working for me.
Using chromium-snapshot from AUR on Arch linux.
On a separate note, I used the same trick for realplayer (npreal.so)
and it's working fine too. Listening to BBC radio at the moment with
chromium :-)

You probably need to make a symlink to the flash library. Look at the first

I'm also on 3.0.193.0 and it works great. I also tried to get the
Java plugin to work by doing the following:
ln -s /usr/lib/jvm/java-6-sun/jre/lib/i386/libnpjp2.so /usr/lib/
chromium-browser/plugins/
but it doesn't work. Output under the command-line is:
Didn't find JVM under /usr/lib/chromi
Woot, big increase with latest snapshot of chromium... and fast as
hell... never seen such a fast browser on *unix systems!

Got flash sound working, but no video (Ubuntu 9.04 Inspiron 6000).
Used the method outlined by skrat (don't have a flashplugin-installer
folder, so I couldn't use konsumer's method).
People who have video working: what method did you use to enable it,
