I'm also on 3.0.193.0 and it works great. I also tried to get the
Java plugin to work by doing the following:

ln -s /usr/lib/jvm/java-6-sun/jre/lib/i386/libnpjp2.so /usr/lib/
chromium-browser/plugins/

but it doesn't work. Output under the command-line is:

Didn't find JVM under /usr/lib/chromium-browser/plugins

I tried a lot of different things to make it work but to no avail.
The command-line also spits out a lot of errors about things not being
implemented yet, so I suppose I could assume that it's just not
possible yet.
