I have never had any luck using FRS radios. Things have very poor
range. And I am talking about the FRS radios you can buy that only do
FRS. Pretty worthless in my book. Anyone else have any

FRS/GMRS still requires FCC Part 95 certified radios and the UV-5R isn't.
