RT-11 Kermit to/from a raw device?

Is there a way to do this? Or perhaps a driver in RT-11 that I could point to an entire drive? If not, maybe I could write one with some community guidance? Would be a splendid way to write real media, or in my case, read the hundreds of 8" floppies I have sitting on the shelf here for archive.
