I recently bought a ZoomFloppy from here: http://store.go4retro.com/zoomfloppy/
I got the version with an IEEE488 conector, for use with a PET, but it
also supports the serial interface used on the C64.

There's also a YouTube video showing a plot of a Czech steam locomotive; I
don't suppose anyone knows where the file might be found?

Hi cctalk@,
I have a Dec Alphastation 500 that is missing the drive cover door
(it's a piece of plastic about a foot long that covers the CDROM drive
and the floppy drive) that is hinged. It's a minor nit (the machine
itself works great - I'm running OpenBSD on it) but if anyone knows
where I can

Excellent tool, thank you. I'll wait for the download to complete and see
if it picked up any of the missing files.

What kind of nets are you looking for?
I am an emergency communications volunteer with Kitsap County so I am
aware of all sorts of emergency response related nets, but I only have
equipment for the local nets.
Have you looked at the ARRL Net database?

Good lucky, I was lucky that mine came with one when I bought it from Compaq.
I was not so lucky in that the system lacks enough RAM to run OpenVMS. I’m
glad to hear that OpenBSD supports it again. For a while it was running
OpenBSD, and acting as my firewall, then they shipped a releases of
Ben,
I'm on the west coast, California, and have antenna's for 40 and 80.
There are several nets on the west coast but none that talk classic computers.
Maybe we need one?
Informal would be the best.

Anyone have spare OS/8 for DECmate disks, RX02? (copies originals does
not matter).
I have a lot of RX01 disks, not sure if I have any RX02's, but I'd offer to
trade what I can or pay a fair price. I may need a VT278 to the pedestal
drive cable. I have a candidate cable that may work, but it's
That’s pretty cool, I’ve never seen anything like that. Is ftp.update.uu.se
still online? It at least used to have an archive of PDP-8 stuff, including
the DECmate. I’m not sure if it has what you need. I can’t help, my DECmate’s
are III’s.
