Gah! This is what I get for ignoring this list for a couple days.
I'd love to grab those DEC 3000's for spares. I'm in Seattle and a trip
to Cali isn't in the cards right now. :(

No eye rolling here. I'd have picked it up too!
I would love to get my hands on hard-copy terminal.
(Still kicking myself for not grabbing a free DecWriter III several
years ago).

I thought the M variants all had blank front panels and bootstraps, but
this has all the pretty stuff!
How difficult are those switchers to fix for one trained in EE, but better
at debugging logic?

Fortuitously, the B&W film was sharp enough to be able to make out the dot
mask of the CRT! That made possible the development of a new technique -
computer recognition of which pixels were the original RGB dots of the image!
That, unlike manual colorisation, results in reasonably exact recreation
The most we saw had the full panel back in the day...

Spring cleaning time!
I have three vintage HP 9836 computers, two monochrome monitors, one
color monitor and three printers.
I'm sure they are going to need work to get running. No testing has been
done. Could probably get two out
of the three working. Somewhere I have a few various I/O cards a
or a faulty recollection of the detail of James Insell's
work at BBC R&D.
Here's Insell's 2007 description:

That one is close to Josh, maybe he should pick it up. :) :)
I would love an LK421, although I guess it is taken now. Although
shipping to the UK would be horrific using FedEx.

I think he may have already picked it up. I believe he is trying to un-pick
it up using eBay.

Aaron/Anders,
Aaron lives relatively close to me, my parents live in the same city. So if
there is anything that Aaron wants that is still available then perhaps we
could combine it into one package and share a bit of the shipping cost. I
could get it to Aaron later.

Good idea, Rob. Thanks!
I would be interested in one or two of the Ultrix tapes if they are
MIPS/DECstation.

That is correct, this is my auction. If anyone has any questions, drop
me a line!
