Have you thought about upgrading the backplane/bus to 22 bits (shouldn't be
too hard) - or do you want to keep it original?

side, I modified the BDV11 ROMs with some help from Malcolm Macleod on the boot
eprom images so that I could boot a DU device directly from a 11/23 (not plus).
It boots an Emulex UC07 and a SCSI2SD so I can load variou
