Subject: Availability of PDP-8i Front Panel
Sir;
I working on a project to build a PDP-8i for a combined Compute
Science/Electronic Engineering course on design. T
Hello Ray
I have plenty of PDP-8/i front panels. I also make and stock
front panels for
PDP-8/e , f and m. The panels are made by the exact same process as the
originals.
They are designed as replacements for front panels on original systems.
I worked for digital when these syste
attending the course, should not be able to accomplish
the same task.
1. I would like to know if you still have your PDP-8i Front Panel still
available?
2. What is the cost for the panel plus shipping to Tucson, Arizona?
3. I understands that you are attempting to re-manufacture the Switch
Rocker
finaly got some pregress on this 8i from a feild restoration of mine..
now to sit down and do an order for the transistors
and go talk to the local ewaste recycler on monday see if they can help me
source some slider switches like one i found in the junk pile at the local
hacker space last night
