All,
I have been contacted by an individual who will be taking the entire lot off my
hands.
Should this deal fall through for some reason, I will re-post my offer.

Good afternoon folks,
I have an HP-86 system that I am not using, and I would like to sell to someone
who will put it to good use.
The system is made up of:
- HP-86B
- HP-9121 Dual 3.5” floppy disk drive
- HP-82900A Auxiliary Processor (CP/M System) with the proper boot disk
- the new HP85Disk
I have had a couple of inquiries on my system, but no takers yet.
I just want to let folks know that it is still available.
Please read the description - that is exactly what is for sale.
Please contact me for photos.

Thanks a million, Mike, for scanning and posting this.
I purchased this fix for my Altair way back when for $15, and it’s been one of
those things that I’ve never been able to find online.

I believe that Mike Douglas has a utility program that you can get into a
Northstar Horizon, and then it can receive a .DSK image sent from the terminal
and it will write the disk for you in the Horizon.
It’s called PCtoFlop and I think he has it in his archive here:

type a CR, the cursor goes back all the way to the left, as it should. If I
type CTRL-J for LF, the cursor drops down 2 lines, as it should (because of the

Hi folks,
I know there's not much 6800 activity here, but I figure this would be worth a
try.
Has anyone here ever seen or ever had fig-FORTH for the 6800 working?

I’m glad to hear that you still have some possibilities there. I’ve go nothing
on mine. I guess I’ll have to start looking for another RX-50 disk drive
controller board. Since those are as scarce as the memory expansion boards,
I’m not very hopeful.
Guess it’ll be time to sell the parts on e
I guess it doesn’t make any difference now. I reassembled the computer and now
I get a message 28 “RX50 Controller Board" failure during POST.
I’ve taken it apart and put it back together several times, but I cannot clear
the failure. This really has been a bad day!

Thanks for your response.
Just to be certain, I just tore it all down and reconfirmed, in case my memory
was playing any tricks.
I have a PC-100B with no expansion card.
Thanks again for the advice.

I’m looking for expansion memory for my DEC Rainbow.
I currently have 128K RAM, and I’d like to have 256K RAM, so I can actually use
the Lotus 1-2-3 that I recently purchased (without thinking).
Any suggestions?
Thanks,
