I would be against the storage of crystals due to a number of reasons.
0) Crystal is harder to be fake than images; From crystal to images,
maybe only 1 hour needed;
-would be worried about: proper handling of crystals after data collection,
ice formation, dropping, remounting if it another futur
We have a Precision incubator that we keep at 20 C and a fischer scientific
for 4 C. I have also had collegeues use succesfully wine cooling cabinets
(as others have suggested). Another suggestion in an effort to keep the
temperature from fluctuating around your tray would be stacking your plates
