Hi Rui, to get it work, I would make sure that I have the last version of X-code tools, and update X-quartz with the last version 2.4.0, you can download it here: http://xquartz.macosforge.org/trac/wiki I would also update fink and the source list which are different for Intel and PPC: check Bill

Hi All, I got a mac pro 10.5.8 and transferred all the programs from my old mac ( ppc ), now when I tried to run coot, it will start and crash with the following error message: Reading coordinate file: /sw/share/coot/standard-residues.pdb PDB file /sw/share/coot/standard-residues.pdb has been re
