Hi :
Very interesting question that you are pointing out !. I have no
experience with enzyme chimeras, however I think that if you got crystals
and they diffract you should be able to solve the structure by MR using
one or both structures as a seeding model within the chimera.
There is a very int
Dear All
I am using BALBES in the command line for MR. It already find a possible
solution, but because of the estimated cell content, I should have at
least two more monomers of my structure in the ASU.
How can I fix the already known solution and use it as seed to find more ?
Many thanks for y
Dear All
I am processing data from a crystal for a large macromolecular complex
with mosflm. Cell dimensions are around 120 x 150 x 650, with a p222
spacegroup. To avoid overlaps, we have collected data with a oscillation
of 0.1 degrees.
When I try to process the data with mosflm, mosaicity decr
Hi Mike
Sometimes keratin from your skin (fingers, nails, etc) appear in the gels
as a band around 48-52 kDa. Take care in the handling of the
electrophoresis should be a solution.
Other possible reason could be a contamination of the sample loading
buffer, also with keratin or with other protein
