Anybody else run into this problem?
We were able to get a good solution using MolRep and it turns out to
be 2 molecules in the symmetric unit in R32:H. If you input R32:H
into Phaser it blows up.

I have had a fair amount of success using 2.1-2.3 M Na Malonate as a
cryo protectant for crystals from high salt conditions like yours.
Fluorinated oils are also an option, they generally are a little
easier to work with then Paratone.

would say you might have a good chance of getting the bomb on the

Why not just use a 96 well plate. Should be able to do this by hand
with a large enough drop. You can get them from either TTP Labtech or
Grace Biosystems, I think that is the name.

Hello All,
A grad student here is working on a structure, actually a series of
structures, that have in interesting feature that we are not sure how
to handle. She has taken a know protein and linked the N and C
terminal ends varying the linkage from being direct to a 10 residue
linker.
I have run across a problem and I am not sure where it originates
from. When I use a pdb input file that contains a metal atom, say
Cu, that has been written out by coot in refmac I get a read error of
the sort that refmac does not recognize the Cu. If I then edit the
pdb file and change
I have a Shelx HKLF4 formated reflection file that I would like to
convert to a mtz file. The primary reason is to transfer the freeR
set. I found a couple of convoluted ways of converting the
reflection data, but no real way of getting the freeR set to transfer.
Any suggestions?
