I would be more worried about why the alarm is going off. In theory the alarm should only go off when tested or when you have a real fire, in which case I wouldn't worry about how it effects my crystals. Most places only test the alarms once or twice a year.

There are "silent" alarms available which consist mainly of a strobe light for the room that it is installed in so you could look into that if it really is a problem of having the alarms go off for no reasons.
