Hi,
I would like to ask the bb faithful for their experience with the glutathione
affinity resins. We have been using so far the Glutathione Sepharose fast flow
from GE but the price is getting steeper. We found Glutathione Superflow resin
from Clontech to be significantly less expensive and Glu
Google 2D-GraLab. Very good at showing detailed interface contacts along
protein sequences.
To my knowledge, there is no way to include a non protein ligand.
But the source code is available on request and if you succeed to modify the
program, please let us know.

Dear all,
can anyone provide me with examples for proteins that form a helical
oligomer under physiological conditions and flat rings (basically a helix
with a pitch of 0) in the crystal? I only know examples of the other way
around.
Thank you in advance.

Dear All,
We are looking to protein tags (of size not exceeding 10 kDa) as markers to
label our protein complex of size ~50 kDa. Although I have searched for several
possible candidates mainly mini-proteins, most of them are not what we want to
have. The features that we are looking in the tag
Hi Tobias,
this may or may not work.
calculate a map for both proteins, normalize them, put them on an identical
cell and subtract one map from another.
The program that can do this is called mapman *gosh* a non-CCP4 thing.
Good luck,
Jürgen

Hello all,
Sorry for the off-topic query but does anyone here have any feedback to
share, positive or negative, about using Dionex HPLC instruments for
preparative protein purification, i.e. using these in lieu of AKTA units ?
Any help will be much appreciated.
Best,
