Dear Debajyoti,
It is likely that you have crystallized a contaminant in your preparation. You
can put the unit cell into BALBES which will tell you if the PDB has seen it
before. Another thing is to submit your polyalanine trace to DALI to see if the
fold is recognised.

Irrespective of possibe statistical arguments, I'd rather cut data at
CC_1/2 >= 70%. Having said that I don't think people have come to a
consensus yet and I am so old-fashioned that I mainly cut my data at
I/sigI >= 2. This is based on
