Hi,
What should we do about storing email addresses of bug reporters? The
CC field of the google issue tracker looks very inviting, but it only
allows google user names there. :(
So far I've given people a link to their bug, so they could bookmark
that and check it whenever they want... sh

missed it I didn't see any followup on that list and was didn't find a bug

I still can't believe that \chordmode has anything to do with the problem.
I just noticed that in your example, you did
\new ChordNames {
\harmonyIntro
\set Staff.midiInstrument = "violin"
}
which means that the instrument isn't specified until after the music
(or
I found a fix for this, and no longer consider it a bug. When I also add
"system-count = 1" to the markup score then it works fine. It seems that if
your are using system-count at all in your main score then you MUST ALSO
specify a system-count on any \markup scores. Lilypond the respects
both/
