In some situations lyics hyphen doesn't appear at the end of the line.
(Perhaps when there is little space after the syllable, and maybe at the
end of the last staff on the page).

Having used | in lyrics for a while, I have discovered that the easiest way to
think about barchecks in that context, is that barcheck may be added right
_before_ the first stanza of a bar
I don't think there's any such option for the lilypond script,
but the lilypond-bin program has an option -e that lets you
run some Scheme code. However, I'm not sure if it works anymore,
if you follow the instructions in 'lilypond-bin --help' to get
more help on the -e flag, you get an error.
