at least for this package, there is
not much use currently.
Thanks,

It's in patches-contrib, which means it is not used currently. Indeed,
since the console repeaters have been introduced, this patch is obsolete
and will get dropped for th

What you are describing is more
g 'fakeroot debian/rules binary-arch'
multiple times typically resulted in some rather unspecific errors like
"make[3]: stat:.deps/strlist.Po: (ipc/mig) wrong reply message ID"
besides the one quoted above. One out of half a dozen attempts even lead
to some .debs.

Hi,

Coin,
Here is a simple poll() test case :

Roland said that somebody needs to test a "full bootstrap" with that to
see everything still works. Nobody stepped up yet, I believe.

Has the latest revision been posted (or put into the patch tracker?)
Samuel said 'I have removed the check', but I did not see a new patch
posted, maybe I missed it.

ack down yet. I need
to get a dhcp-client package for Debian GNU/Hurd done for people to
test, but until we got SIOCGHWADDRINFO in glibc (nag, nag), there is not
so much use in it.

Thanks Roland, that worked well. I tested this with gconftool-2, and it
runs fine now.

Hi,
Neal's latest pthread checkin fixed one issue in the python test suite.
However, as the test suite now runs further, it exposed another problem
which makes the machine hang in an endless loop (and not just abort the
test suite, as before), namely in test_openpty.
This test is pretty simple:

Hi,
quite a few people have reported that e.g. ping gets 'Killed'
immediately when they execute it. We were now able to track that down
to the presence of the libnss-db package:
[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~# LD_PRELOAD=/home/mbanck/libnss_db.so.2 ping
Killed
[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~# ping
Usage: ping [OPTION]
rently strips
away libpthread from NEEDED, resulting in the same behaviour as Neal
pointed out. This patch fixes this, so it is quite important at least
for Debian.
Thanks,
