It's in patches-contrib, which means it is not used currently. Indeed, since the console repeaters have been introduced, this patch is obsolete and will get dropped for the next package. > mouse.patch > > Won't be applied. It is a hack. Same as above, will get dropped. > pfinet_dhcp.patch > > I see no harm in getting this applied, but I recall that some people > where still having problems with getting DHCP working. This will be possible as soon as the hurd and glibc packages are updated and a dhcp-client packages has been uploaded. > Won't be applied, Debian specific. > > ttys.patch > > I submitted something similar, forgot why it never got applied. Marcus argued that this patch does not make sense as long as the Hurd console is not started on bootup, IIRC. However, I believe he got convinced that this patch does not hurt either and makes things easier for users, so it should get resubmitted. > exec.patch > > Won't be applied, Debian specific since Debian uses a dirt old glibc. This one will get dropped with the next upload as well, as the hurd package builds fine without it. (and I believe there should be no run-time problems then, correct me if I'm wrong) Michael _______________________________________________ Bug-hurd mailing list Bug-hurd@gnu.org http://lists.gnu.org/mailman/listinfo/bug-hurd
