Hurd does not want to build

Hello, I have a problem building the Hurd. I checkout the sources using the command: cvs -d:pserver:[EMAIL PROTECTED]:/sources/hurd co hurd as it is said here: http://www.gnu.org/software/hurd/hacking-guide/hhg.html. Then I do cd hurd/; make which dies with the following error message:
