There is some delay problems when using a Handy Tech Braille Star 40
display with the latest development code of BRLTTY. This is tested with
Fedora 20, with bouetooth connection. The problem should be reproducable
by doing the following steps:
- Start BRLTTY from the comm

thanks for your changes, now bratty compile fine on debian with
pthread.h from my glib.
It compile quite well on FreeBSD.
on os x there is an error.
i join the file and in case pthread.h.

It should now compile on OSX, but please do the tests on Debian until we're
satisfied that it's working correctly there.
