In the meantime, to save time, could you please test your Esys on your Debian system? There are two tests I'd like to see. The first test is with no special configure options so that our native Linux USB code will be used. If it works, great. If it doesn't work then please capture a debug log with -ldebug,usb,inpkts,outpkts. The second test is to configure with --with-usb-package=libusb.
