- screen-4.2.1.tar.gz i mentionned as macports distfile in fact is the gnu
source,
patching is done just before configure as usual.

Dear Raoul,
So nothing has changed on the Esys itself? No firmware upgrade?
I've been told that there are two versions of the Esys, version 1 and
version 2. Do you know something about this? What is it that changes
between versions 1 and 2? Is it a software/firmware or hardware change?

please send it to me for addition to brltty's Patches/ subdirectory?

I noticed that the inline version of the patch doesn’t look right when viewed
in the email. The first column should be either blank, + or -. To apply this
patch, I would need to bring it into an editor and add spaces at the beginning
of many of the lines.

It will be good to have a screen version to use that is not in danger of
disappearing, especially since the patch will work across platforms. Now that I
can do it without using the patched binary, I am going to try it as soon as I
have a few minutes.
