after meeting Old Timers Co-op Birding team I found a Great Gray Owl hunting
along the roadside on Hwy 619 in the bog north of Brown Rd. about 10km north of
Pinewood. The bird had a dilated right pupil, not sure if th
I saw a Great Gray Owl just before sunset last night on Highway 71 southeast of
Kenora about 12km south of the Hwy 71/Hwy 17 junction.
Kenora is located in Northwestern Ontario near the Manitoba border.
