A first winter male Barrow’s Goldeneye was at Tommy Thompson Park in Toronto
yesterday. It was first discovered about 9 am by Allison Zhang near the south
end of the marina. I was able to relocated the bird at 5:30 pm in the same
general area. It was swimming with a small group of Common Golden
Reesor Pond:
At approx 9 am this morning I found a single Greater White-fronted Goose
swimming with upwards of 1500 Canada Geese in Reesor Pond. Smaller than the
Canada’s with distinctive orange bill and white patch on the front of its face.
