Reesor Pond:

At approx 9 am this morning I found a single Greater White-fronted Goose
swimming with upwards of 1500 Canada Geese in Reesor Pond. Smaller than the
Canada’s with distinctive orange bill and white patch on the front of its face.
I will post a distant photo to ebird shortly. The pond is only partially frozen
so lots of activity with hundreds of geese coming and going at regular
intervals. At least three Cackling mixed in as well but no Snow Geese. Sorry I
don’t have data on my phone and couldn’t post until I came home.

Reesor Pond is located on the west side of Reesor Road in Markham; just north
of the 407ETR and south of Hwy 7.
