BARROW'S GOLDENEYE
A male Barrow's Goldeneye was seen on Tuesday at Confederation Park in the
company of a Common Goldeneye. The bird was near the first rocky outcrop to
the East about 100 yards from the parking lot at the west end of the park.

I've just relocated the Eurasian Wigeon at the Leslie St Spit. It is foraging
with a group of Scaup and Redhead just off the APSC sailing club docks (which
are currently out of the water). Stand next to the club house and scope south
to the edge of the ice. Scope highly recommended.

I currently have a female Yellow-rumped "Audubon's" Warbler at Point Pelee.
It's hanging out around the Tip parking area and the solar panel.

To my knowledge the bird has not been relocated. In fact the number of geese
and dabblers is way down on what we had yesterday. The Greater White-fronted
Geese have also not been seen. Birders are on the island searching and will
hopefully provide updates as the day progresses. Personally, I am
Flock of 50 or so in a field between 1st and 3rd Line west side of Hwy 109/old
Hwy 9 north of Tiviotdale.

The cells are open, the berms are dry and there are many species of waterfowl
present. This morning we observed over 100 Tundra Swans flying over or
resting on the largest cell. Among the 200+ Mallard and 150 Canadas there were
25 American Widgeon, 15 Northern Pintail, 20 American Black Duck,
Just found either the same Tundra Swan flock or a similar sized one, on 6th
Line Minto south of Harriston, about 100m in if you go east from Hwy 109. Easy
seen from 6th line, barely even need binoculars.
