I was looking at draft-ietf-bess-rfc7432bis-10 and happened to notice this in
Section 7.9:
The value field
comprises an IP address of the PE (typically, the loopback address)
AFAICT only an IPv4 address will fit in this field. Since it’s now 2024 and
soon it will be 20
