?
Is there any thing I need to be aware of before I start this? I've read
through most of the change logs and it appears that everything will be
alright, but considering I have production data on these tapes I would
like to make sure.
Thanks for your time,

Hello,
I maybe missing something, or this just isn't a feature of bacula right
now. But I want to be able to backup two different job on two different
pools to two different tape drives in my tape library/changer. How do I
do that?
I have Maximum Concurrent Jobs = 2 in the Director config.

Thanks, looks like what I was missing was the part in the storage
section of the director (found that moments before your E-mail in the
manual)
Thanks again,

Hello,
I have bacula set up to work with an autochanger, backing up about 10
servers, however on a few servers it runs very slow(500KB/s with
encryption, and 1150.0 KB/s w/o encryption) compared to the others
(4412.9 KB/s with encryption) (the servers running slower backups are

Hello,
I have a offsite rotation that I need to set up with bacula. Currently
we have our tapes taken off site by a service (not an employee) and this
service does not happen on holidays or weekends. The current schedule
works like so:
We have 3 pools, 2 Daily (MTh and WF) and 1 weekly pool (W1

Hello, I have had Bacula spooling to disk so I could run multiple
backups at the same time with out interleaving on to a single tape. I
just recently enabled the job copy/clone feature so I could write the
same job to two different backups. However the cloned job do not spool
to disk, so they sit
Hello,
I am about to implement data encryption on my backup tapes using the
Bacula 1.39.18, and I just had one question dealing with restoring that
encrypted data.
If I were to lose my backup server (but not losing the encryption keys)
because of some disaster, would I have to have all of bacula
ll do this with encrypted tapes or have I
misunderstood the process?
Thanks,
Deric

an encrypted tape? (if this is documented somewhere, forgive the
question and point me in the right direction.)
