We use a powerVault 110T on a EMC² server with Dedian.
Friday, the backup was too large for our storage support. So I have try
to kill the job in the bacula console with "cancel" command and
I have already try "unmount" then "mount" commands and a restart of

by allowing the user to partition the unit to suit his/her needs. In other

Not sure this is the right list for this but, anyone have any thoughts on why
the bacula service might not start on XP? Here is all I can find, not much
else in the events.

I can gain access to the director but I cannot start the service.
I don't see any errors when I try to start that service other than what I've

Yes, there are no errors on the XP client. I'm only talking about the service,

files are set up correctly, that you can gain access to the server a

Actually, looks like bacula did something else. It changed the configuration
of the tape drive as well. I had it set as one large drive and bacula
reconfigured it to segments of 64 drives.
Must be something funky between bacula and the storage system no? Can bacula
talk with a storage device a
