Thanks for the reply. Sorry I did not respond earlier but i have been very busy. The issue is not the network driver as it fairly new (august 2008) and ther are no other network issues on the server really. The way I got the bare metal restores to work is by doing a repair install after complet

Is it possible that the network driver on your boot device is just out of date (i.e. buggy) or that the firmware (hard drives, controllers, network adapter, etc) on the server with the problem just needs updating? While we're on the topic... how did you get the windows bare metal restore to wor
