I feel to have the same Problem.
My Optionblock also contains the compression=GZIP as mentioned in the first
post of this thread.
But leads me to think gzip is not working is, i summed up the size of "du -hs"
on the fileset corresponding dirs that were round about 300Megs. The Backupfile
contained
