Hey everyone, I am trying to see if anyone has done work on the
platforms/osx code base. I am wanting to build a dmg client so I can
distribute it within my network. The problem is, it looks like it has been
built for 10.4 which will not work since this is still PPC code. I have
tried to get it
Hello,
I am setting up desktop backups and I am trying to create custom labels
for each desktop volume. I would like to have something like this:
Full-clientname-0001
Inc-clientname-0001
Diff-clientname-0001
Is this possible? I am running 7.0.2. Thanks!

I am looking for a way to backup our EMC celerra cifs shares without
using ndmp. We are currently using symantec backup exec to backup the
emc without using ndmp, so I was wondering if there was a way to
perform this operation using bacula. Any help will be appreciated,
thanks!

between 1:00 am and 5:00 am. I have a few processes that I just need to
backup at this times on a daily basis and I don't want to run them all day
incrementally. Will I basically have todo this:

No barcodes on the tapes. Didn't know I needed to use them. Thought I
could use this unit without using barcodes.

Hello, I am able to perform a copy job to tape, but I am unable to find any
information on how to restore this data. Bacula's documentation talks more
about migration than copy. I didn't want to migrate the data, I wanted to
copy so I have it. Is there any detailed information on restoring copy

rcodes command, I received the same error as above.
I am still convinced that this is something to do with my entries in the
bacula-sd.conf for this unit. I think that is where the hangup is.

Hello. I am able to write data to my quantum superloader 3 only by
basically moving the tape manually and disabling the autochanger. Here is
the situation. This unit has an 8 tape magazine. I have a tape in SLOT 1.
