Hello Jaime,
Well in the Device resource that you show below,
Thanks Ralf:
I did that and it worked Ok. I backed up and restored a full drive
(5GB) using tar and compared the contents of the restore with the source which
is consistent. So as pointed out by Kern, I Think I got something wrong with
the Tape Alert command.
Jaime Ferrer
Alert Command = "sh -c 'smartctl -H -l error %c'"
}
And a copy of the lsscsi –g output:
[0:0:5:0]tapeHP Ultrium 7-SCSI G9Q1 /dev/st0 /dev/sg1
Kindest Regards.

Does this only happen with this tape or with other lto-7 tapes?

Hi;
I have been working with bacula for almost 10 years. It’s a
great program and I’ve installed in several servers without issues, Also It has
saved me several times! 😉 . Recently I’ve been preparing a Bacula server with
the latest version 9.0.4 with a HP Ultrium 7 tape drive.
Yes, you are correct. But having all under /opt/bacula ease the process of
disaster recovery, despite the fact that location of files varies depending on
the distribution.

Hello,
We are working on
he "RedHat standard" and it
is really cumbersome to maintain and update.

Hi Guys;
Does anyone knows when the bacula binaries for major linux distributions will
be available. I'm planning to upgrade Bacula to the lastes version, but I will
want to skip the compilation process.
Thanks
Jaime F
have gone through this before.
I'm using Bacula 5.0.2 in both Director and Storage Daemon. As for File Daemon
we have tried with several versions.
The affected machines are two virtual windows 2008 Server (and 2008 R2)
Can anyone give me a hint on this?
Kindest Regard
