Thanks Ralf: I did that and it worked Ok. I backed up and restored a full drive (5GB) using tar and compared the contents of the restore with the source which is consistent. So as pointed out by Kern, I Think I got something wrong with the Tape Alert command. Jaime Ferrer

Hi; I have been working with bacula for almost 10 years. It’s a great program and I’ve installed in several servers without issues, Also It has saved me several times! 😉 . Recently I’ve been preparing a Bacula server with the latest version 9.0.4 with a HP Ultrium 7 tape drive.

have gone through this before. I'm using Bacula 5.0.2 in both Director and Storage Daemon. As for File Daemon we have tried with several versions. The affected machines are two virtual windows 2008 Server (and 2008 R2) Can anyone give me a hint on this? Kindest Regard
