Hi, I've made a fresh install of Horde Groupware Webmail Edition 4. I have
Horde GWE 1.2.9 running on another server. I'm using several IMAP servers so
the users select the server to which they want to login.
I tried to migrate the database part only (mysql) to the new install.

Hi, I enclose my init script (tested on openSUSE 10.0, 10.1
I don't know if this is the right place but I want to say thanks to the whole
team for this great software!
Yesterday I upgraded all the Baculas of the servers in a really flawless
process!, all compiled from source. I'm using OpenSUSE (10.0 - 10.2) in all
the equipments and a 8xLTO3 changer.

Hi, yes there is:
if you have a job running for lets say "client1", from the console you should
be able to do the following command
stat client=client1
You cannot know how many bytes are left to be backed up (unless you estimated
it before).
Saludos!

Did you insserv mysql first?
Maybe mysql is running ok, but you never programmed it to automatically start.
Best luck!

Thanks, I will try it.
This is the scenario:
I needed this because we had problems with file permissions on a file server
(someone pressed the wrong combination of keys with a '-R' on it :-( ) and I
don't want to restore the whole directory tree, just see attributes of the
stored files and wor
The top speed I've achieved with an IBM 3581 L38 was around 30 MB/s on a test
(btest).
With bacula, local disk (sata):

Hi, this is our set-up:
1 x Bacula 1.38.11 (SD-Dir-FD) running on a OpenSuSE Linux 10.0 (x86_64) and
an IBM 3581 LTO3x7 changer (scsi) servicing:
3 x OpenSuSE Linux 10.1 (i586) - Bacula FD 1.38.11
2 x OpenSuSE Linux 10.0 (x86_64) - Bacula FD 1.38.11 (one is local to the
SD/Dir)
4 x SuSE Prof. 9
Did you check the ownership of the device?:
#ls -l /dev/nst0
crw-rw 1 bacula bacula 9, 128 2006-09-21 08:42 /dev/nst0
¡Suerte!

Hi, I'm asking this again, maybe someone can help.
I'm having problems with a job that backs up an Oracle (8i) DB on a OpenSuSE
10.1 (bacula-fd 1.38.9)
The jobs executes the "/etc/init.d/oracle stop" (provided by
orarun-1.8-109.15, rpm) with a Client Run Before Job, and "/etc/init.d/oracle

Hi. I had a similar situation (1.38.10 on sd/dir, 1.38.11 on the client with
problems, 1.38.9 on the rest of the clients). I have a job to back up an
Oracle DB with a "client run before job" to shut down the DB and a "client
run after job" to start it again. My problem is that everyting works
Hi, I have an IBM LTO3 3581 autoloader on SuSE and the device to access the
autoloader is /dev/sg2
st*, nst* are for the tape drive using a driver.
The sg devices are "raw" scsi, accessible without any driver, so I can access
the autoloader this way:
/dev/sg1: Drive
/dev/sg2: Autoloader

Hi, I'm having this issue:
I do full backups every sunday of a SuSE server containing an Oracle DB. But
since I've upgraded to Open SuSE 10.1 the backup doesn't finish.
In the job, I shut down the db with a script before is run, and start it back
again after the job. Everything works fine except
Is there any way to mount a specific tape into a drive with an autochanger?
I've labeled 2 new tapes and the last one is left mounted. I wanted to switch
to another tape, so i unmounted the drive.
I know which tape bacula will use next, but if I execute mount (without any
params) I get:
*mount

Hi everyone, we are currently looking to an update for our long-lived DATs and
we were offered this equipment: Exabyte Magnum 1x7 LTO Tape Autoloader. I'd
like to keep using Bacula as it's proven us to be very helpful and useful in
good and bad times for the past 2-3 years.
I'll really appreciat
