When I run a job manually and then cancel it and then run it again it says
"is waiting execution". Looks like that the DIR thinks that the previous job
I cancelled it still running. In version 1.36.3 it used to work fine but not
in 1.38.11. Restarting of DIR helps. So there is a bug?

I am altering the table now with
alter table File max_rows = 2000;
Some backups failed I guess other old backups are safe.

Is there any way to remotely upgrade the bacula version from 1.36.3 to the
latest version. My dir version is 1.38.11 so I believe I have to upgrade the
win bacula version also.

I tried to compile bacula from source in suse 7 machine and it failed. Below
I gave the error message.
== Error in /root/bacula-1.38.11/src/lib ==
==>Entering directory /root/bacula-1.38.11/src/findlib
make[1]: Entering directory `/root/bacula-1.38.11/src/findlib'
make[1]: Leaving dir
I did that changed to 4 then it worked fine.

In the previous version 1.36.3 I used to a simple sql query that will show
which tapes are in changer and which tapes are offsite location. It looked
like this below.
inchanger slot VolumeName VolStatus percent_full lastwritten
1 3 SDLT005 Purged 76.1 20
I am on the process of upgrading to 1.38.11 but what will happen if Dir
1.38.11 tries to backup a client running 1.36.3?

I was using a script to check the tape status in html format and now that
script is not working because of changes in mysql tables. I was running the
following query.
#!/bin/sh
echo "Content-type: text/html"
echo
echo ""
echo ""
echo "Bacula Tape Status"
echo ""
echo ""
avg_capacity=`mysql -N

Should I have 2 different machines for Dir or SD or one machine for both.
Presently I am using 2 different.

I tried to use the old config and the director started without any
complains. So if the syntax was wrong bacula should have complained right?
