Hi,

I am running a sample job and I only get 1.5TB per LTO5 tape so that means
hardware compression is not working. But when I check in
/sys/class/scsi_tape/nst0/default_compression and it says 1,
default_blksize=-1 and default_density=-1. Am I missing something in regards
to compression? I have 5 test tapes labeled LTO5-001 to LTO5-005 and bacula
randomly picked up LTO5-005 after LTO5-001 and how can I force bacula to go
in serial order and not random order when it picks up tapes. All the tapes
were in volstatus append to start with.

Thanks in advance,

Arunav.

Not yet. :)

(Well, OK, not deduplication as such. Yet. But look into the Base Jobs
feature. It *MAY* do what you want.)
