First thing: I misspoke in my description, I don't know how I mixed them up
but I think I was focusing on remembering all the troubleshooting steps, it
is not adding the "Fileset" which causes the window to shrink but adding
the "JobDefs" field.

Bacularis: 3.2.1 from bacularis PPA installed locally

I got your Python script working but only if I include the -C
in the command line. Otherwise it complains that
email is missing, cannot connect to dB and a few other things. It looks
like it's not finding the configuration file that I put in my home
directory. With -C it does find it.
