First thank you for responding. I know peoples time is valuable I will do my best not to waste yours.
Second, I misspoke in my original post in my focus trying to remember the troubleshooting steps, it is not "Filesets" which are causing the window to collapse, it is "JobDefs". I don't know if that makes any difference aside from content. Third, I can reproduce this when creating a new Job however I have since discovered that if I take an existing Job and change the JobDefs field that appears to work correctly as the window does not collapse. This creates a workaround by creating a new Job, not changing the JobDefs field, saving the new Job, then re-editing the Job to change the JobDefs field. That results in expected behavior, no window collapse. Annoying but at least allows progress. I am able to bring up the developer window (sorry, I am not very familiar with these tools but I can follow) and found the Event Listeners tab. The Handler that looks relevant is "change", it has a subsection called "select" and when I hover my mouse over the "select" subsection, the JobDefs menu drop down becomes highlighted. This is where you lost me however. Do I start clicking on the handlers? If so, they open up into more subsections. To answer your other question while observing the Network tab and clicking on a menu item that causes the window to collapse, it appears one new entry appears in the network section. When I click on that in the network tab I am given the choice of several other tabs to inspect, "Headers", "Payload", "Preview", "Response", "Initiator", "Timing" and "Cookies". Beyond that I'm not sure what I'm looking for.
