Every try coping a half tb file? 40 50GB files and a pile of virtual

Hi,
I had a query about what volume sizes to use.
My backups will be span multiple 2TB disks using the vchanger add on.
My current thinking is to have 4 Volumes on each disk with a max volume
size of 500gb each.
What are the pros and cons of splitting volumes into smaller sizes but
having more

This Looks like a good change to me. I
Hi, you could try go to execute the following command on windows
c:\Program Files\Bacula>bacula-fd.exe
and check the error message.
otherwise you can google it as 'bacula error 1067'

Folks,
We have a change request for Bacula on FreeBSD:
http://www.freebsd.org/cgi/query-pr.cgi?pr=ports/170882
That is: all the Bacula stuff which normally fits in /usr/local/etc/
into /usr/local/etc/bacula
On the first upgrade to this changed port, your stuff would break. :)
You'd need to

This should be the first place to check since the installer generates
an invalid config by default (or at least it did for some time).

Hi, list!
I need to backup a machine with Windows XP Professional.
I installed Bacula and I configured it, such as a Linux machine.
Unfortunately, I cannot start the FD...
If I start it from console I don't get any message, but the service
does not work.
Any idea, what I can check?

thanks for your answer
I saw this when the copy jobs are running and it's OK for me.
But my explanation is that i have after the end of the copy on the tape.
My problem is that "BAT" dosen't see job type "copy job" for a restore.

Hello,
I would just like to inform you that in several of my previous

through the Bacula Systems web site, I mistakenly said (and
the bacula.org web site mistakenly reported) that once the

Do you know why types differ ?
For my use i prefer "type = Backup", how can i do to force bacula to put
"type = Backup" on all of my copie

Hi,
I'm trying to register on http://bugs.bacula.org, everything seems to
work fine, but the system doesn't seem to send an email.
So i'm unable to create a new account to report some bugs/request.
Could some admin checkout the bugtracker system?
Thanks!
