Hello folks!
Long time Bacula User here, pure bliss. So far I "only" backed up my
personal servers and machines at home, but right now I am trying to
backup our company servers (300+).
I wrote scripts to add the clients to the server - everything just works
(tm).
Just one thing. Simultaneous bac

Dear All,
I was wondering if bacula keeps current state information in a
sql table (running jobs, status) or any other place that can be
accessed w/o bconsole? I'd like to monitor different aspects fo the
running job queue (how long job has been running, how many jobs

Dear All,
When decommissioning a client, what is the best practice to clean
up old client, job data?
In trying to do some reporting from the database, I still see clients
that I removed from the config long ago, and job data for clients and
jobs that haven't existed in years.
Thanks,

Dear John.
On my tape(s) is the following description:
Tandberg Data LTO ULTRIUM LTO 5 Cartridge 1.5 TB, 3.0 TB UNCOMPRESSED.
Thus I think that is an LTO-5 Tape.
On the other hand there exists the same types of tapes from Tandberg as well
in another pool and this backups run very well.
So I think

much time, and the rest of backups started too late, on Monday. I have read
several time about the schedule resource, but I can not find how to "force" and
end time for a job. For example, the full backup of s

Hi everybody.
We have our own physical backup server running Red Hat Linux 6 with
Bacula 5.0.3 to a Tandberg T24 Tape Library
with one LTO-5 Tape drive with an uncompressed capacity of 1.5 TB.
Only Bacula is writing to this no. No other application uses it.
When about 400GB capacity is reac
Hi everybody.
When I do a "list media pool=" then I see that the 2 Volumes
in the pool
has VolStatus Error. When I start a backup job "list jobs" show me the
status R for running. But when I start "list media pool="
later,
no data changed in the list. There are no more VolFiles or VolBytes
