An update: after leaving it to run last night, it appears that
incremental jobs are trying to use volume Incr-0017, which is already
used (and not appendable). So why is bacula trying to re-use volumes it
is not allowed to, and how can I stop it from doing so?
I've pasted the debug output from
bacula 5.0.3, FreeBSD 8.2
While running a full backup of a file server, bacula keeps issuing
'Cannot find any appendable volumes' messages and prompting me to create
a new volume. I've done that, three times, and tried rerunning the job
but now the NAS unit attached to the bacula box is nearly ful

What does /var/log/bacula/log say?

Hello All,
since I am still having the problem and over easter holidays there was not
enough feedback here is my problem again:
Issuing run command in bconsole sometimes takes a long time, up to 20
minutes, to respond.
What could be the problem?
Any hint would be highly appreciated.

So the problem as described below is that if I'm trying to create two or
more VirtualFulls to the same Storage Resource at the same time, the
first Job grabs both the Devices in my Autochanger (one to read and one
to write), leaving the second Job to die. One way to get around this is
to stagger m

Hi,
I am very frustrating with this.
I have a Celerra Nas that exports NFS Filesystem.
On Linux server (director and storage daemon) I mount the Filesystem in
the next manner:
10.1.232.2:/fs_Bacula /Vols_Bacula nfs rw,bg,hard,intr,rsize=32768,wsize=32768

Hi all
I have a problem with a Windows 2003 server where backup is interrupted quite
often. I only see the problem on this machine (dev0), but the error looks more
like an SD failure. This SD is in use for several other backups, which work
well. Director, FD and SD are all running Bacula 5.0.3.
Hello Folks,
we are save our data with bacula 2.2.6 on Solaris.
We have to backup a Windows 2008 R2 and i would like to know, if the
bacula client version 2.2.6 is compatible on it?

Hi, I'm having some troubles with bacula failing to perform automatic
backups. The issue seems to be that the storage daemon is not
automatically labelling a new volume. The setup looks like this:
Director lives on an Intel server running Ubuntu 10.04.2 LTS, the
installed version of bacula is
