Ok,
So I'm trying to figure out how to accomplish this and I think I have a kink
in my think! I've switched to running Accurate Jobs for my backups from GFS.
I've created an Accurate pool where my Incrementals are going now and it has

I thought I had fixed this by upgrading to Bacula 5 (as part of Fedora 13
upgrade) and reverting bacula-sd.conf settings to defaults. I can perform
reboots, stop & restart bacula-sd, and Bacula is able to append. However the

Hi,
Your solution worked perfectly.
Storage can be defined in either the Job or Pool.
And you should specify the level in the Job, the bacula figures out
which pool to backup to, hence the storage and the drive.
Thanks for that,

Nothing on dmesg, but the file is actually open. I think this should not
be an issue, should it?
Ok thanks for that.
Only learned how to bump the other day.. and it didn't work :(
Anyway back to the story.
It is ok now.
It was my back up path, being incorrect in the director.
Initially i could not get it to back up the files, i ended up with a path like

Could you please paste the entire config you're using? It would appear
that the "Storage" parameter can not be located in the job or job

Hi Laurent,
Sorry, I've corrected the spelling mistakes, but there is still an
issue, as error says *Config error: Job type field: Storage in run

I think is it more of an invalid parameter in the schedule section.
I'll keep trying.

Try running configure again but do not put the --enable-gnome option in

Note the configure error: bgnome-console no longer supported

Hi,
i'm very happy with bacula - but my yesterday update from 3.0.2 to 5.0.2
makes me some headache.
Backup runs - but to restore a job bring the mysql-server to hang (ok,
the server work's but without result for over an hour).
With 3.0.2 it takes seconds (less than one minute) to build the

Prashant,
It almost sounds like a misspelling. I see that in your schedule, you
wrote LTO with a zero, like LT zero-two. But LTO drives have that name
for the acronym "Linear Tape Open", so if your storage config spells it
with the letterO, then that's a problem. Try copy-pasting the name to
