Hi.
In 5.0 there is directive "Maximum Concurrent Jobs" for devices too, which
should mean that it's now possible to run multiple jobs simultaneously on the
same device and therefore on the same storage. Right?
I have "Maximum Concurrent Jobs = 20" set for SD, for 'storage-silver' and for

Is there an extra command that needs to be run, in order to free volume

A job was started on an appendable LTO4 tape and for various reasons it
was decided to cancel it after it reached the end and was requesting a
new volume to be loaded.

I know I can install from source on linux, and I even have the lastest bacula
package I've downloaded since the version in the repository is too recent.
But I would like to know How to install only the file daemon or the storage

BTW, I would change /dev/st0 to /dev/nst0. Using /dev/st0 can cause a

Hi,
You can backup postgresql in three different ways:
1. dumping database or postgresql cluster to file using pg_dump, then
backing up those file (semi hot backup)
2. backing up all postgresql cluster data files and postgresql wal files
using postgresql pitr feature (hot backup)
3. backing up all

Hello.
In 5.0 there are new options for filesets to set which attributes to consider
for accurate jobs. What if none is specified - is modification time considered
then?
Ie. does it work exactly like 3.0 did if configuration is not changed in any
way after upgrading from 3.0?

I don't know, but in fact I got it slightly wrong. You put accurate=yes in
the JOB definition, so it won't affect the fileset anyway.

I take a look into /etc/bacula/sripts/make_catalog_backup, i think to create
